Next Reunion: Saturday August 23, 2008 |

Ruble Reunion:
The next reunion will be Saturday August 23, 2008 at Williamstown, WV city park. Please click on the Download page and download a detailed map. The reunion takes place at 1pm. All that is asked from people attending is that you bring a covered dish. The reunion is funded from donations taken the previous year so I urge you to throw a few dollars in the tin can to help Joyce and Mabel with next years reunion. Another fund raising idea that has worked well in the past is to donate an item you are not using for an auction held that same day at the reunion.

I will be selling the latest release of my book at the Ruble Reunion. If you can't attend the reunion and still want a copy of the book just go to Contact Us and send Mark a private message.

Restoration of old cemetery |

Ruble-Mayhew Cemetery:
Lots of exciting news to report about the cemetery. A small group of Boy Scouts under the leadership of their Scout Master and a scout earning his Eagle Scout badge started in the fall of 2005 to clean up the cemetery. They have worked very hard and progress is being made but there is still lots more needing done. Many headstones are in desperate need of repair, still many more headstones need replacing. A new chain link fence with gates needs constructed, and a permanent sign and flag pole needs erected.

I have added to this site a Survey Form. There is only 5 questions and please take the time to give me your honest opinion of this site and it's content. I promise you that only the site administrator will see your comments.
My thought in generating this form is to get your input on how to improve and make this site grow with the content that you want to see. I may be the site administrator but this site belongs to us all.

Due to spammers and idiots trying to post their porn website on the Ruble Forum I have had to change permissions to the forum. Only registered users can post and reply to messages on our forum. Anyone new wanting to be added to the forum as a member must register and their membership must first be approved. I am so sorry that it has come to this, but I am trying my best to prevent what happened recently from ever happening again.
